Ashanna is charismatic, assertive, and a natural born leader. She leads with optimism, boldness, and an animated can-do attitude that is contagious to her surroundings. Throughout her professional career, Ashanna have been focusing and practicing her leadership in two business fields: first political and governmental relations, and second is real estate. Additionally, outside of the professional arena, Ashanna also practices her leadership and stewardship through ministry work at her church.

 

POLITICS AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

 

Currently, Ashanna is acting as Independent Director of Asia and Pacific Region Business Development Partner at Sanitas International Inc, a global strategic communications, public affairs, digital media and political advisory firm based in Washington, DC (https://www.sanitasint.com/). At this position, she is responsible for advising the firm on strategic emerging markets in Asia Pacific Political Consultancy that is related to Sanitas’ business interest. From 2013 – 2014, together with her husband, she managed Sanitas International communication team that worked instrumentally for the general and presidential election in Indonesia. During this assignment, together with the appointed team, Ashanna was responsible to represent client to the key political stakeholders (i.e. Senators, Congressmen/women, government’s top officials) in the United States.

Throughout her professional career, Ashanna has significant international and national exposure in the fields of public policy, law, and political advisory through her working experiences and engagements with numerous organizations: governmental institutions; communication and mass-media companies; lobbying and law firms; non-governmental agencies; and multinational corporations. She gained her vast experiences while she was working for the United States Conference of Mayors (USCM) in 2007 (http://usmayors.org), Voice of America (http://www.voanews.com) in 2008, Chartapolitika Indonesia (http://chartapolitika.com/home) in 2009, Commission X of Indonesia House of Representative (DPR) in 2009-2010, and Chandra Motik Yusuf Djemat & Associates in 2009-2011.

As a part of her contribution and dedication in this professional field, Ashanna is currently drafting a book with Wibawa on the subject of political consulting and campaign.

REAL ESTATE

 

Ashanna is passionate about property and the real estate market. Professionally, she has been working for several international and national corporates such as Jones Lang Lasalle and The Lippo Group. At the Lippo Homes she is acting as business development manager and marketing & communication manager since 2016 (https://www.lippohomes.com/). Among many of her responsibilities are ranging from leading the Lippo Homes marketing & sales team, developing product’s pricing & promo programs, producing and implementing high quality marketing & communication deliverables, designing marketing strategies for Lippo Homes’ priorities products, and drafting and monitoring budget allocations with total projects value of $500 Million++.  

 

Additionally, while she was working for the Jones Lang LaSalle Construction in Washington DC (http://www.us.jll.com/united-states/en-us), Ashanna was responsible for all data and daily operation of financial and accounting accounts of Construction Department while at the Jones Lang Lassalle-Procon (http://www.jll.co.id/indonesia/en-gb) her responsibilities were ranging from looking after multinational and major local companies office requirements to preparing proposals and maintaining relationship with landlords.

MOSLEM -CHRISTIAN RELATIONSHIP MINISTRY

 

The most important aspect of Ashanna’s leadership & stewardship is her calling for the Moslem – Christian Relationship. Although she was born into a long line of respectable Moslem family in Indonesia, Ashanna personally chose to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ the Savior. Born and raised in Indonesia where Islamic culture is dominant, Ashanna believes that Indonesia as a true melting pot can and should promote a nurturing and loving societies where Moslem and Christians –and any other believers- live together in harmony.

 

Currently, she is writing a booklet on Moslem-Christian Relationship. Her goal by writing this booklet is not to convert but mostly to help her fellow Moslem and Christians’ brothers and sisters to understand the love of Christ to all mankind and respect each other background as well as finding a common ground to live with.
